Very short notice for Central Scotland event

Sorry but I have just found out from SLROC that there is a Green Road Run tomorrow (13th April) starting from Killin, then to Glen Lochy to Kenknock, then north over the mountain tops to Glen Lyon, east to Bridge of Balgie, then south back to Killin. It is supposed to be all on public roads but seeing as many on the map are unclassified they could be a bit rough. I haven't got time to change over to the 19" so am going to risk it 20"

Start is at 1030/1100 from Killin, Bring warm clothes, wellies and food, oh and £5 to join in!

CG, snow overnight on the hills round here means you are defo in for a loss on your investment! 16" MTRs on the 90 make a lot more sense than 20" Pirelli Scorpion Low profiles on the RRS. I'm taking the RRS on an nicer run next weekend and might risk the 20's for that rather than run on my 19" snow and ice tyres that I have for the RRS. How can carbon have a footprint, it has no feet?

Well the route should suit CG to a tea as pikey wagons are prohibited on the roads!
I have put a report on my post on RRSport at http://www.rrsport.co.uk/forum/post164920.html#164920

Skill/Competency required - you only need to be able to drive - there is no offroading at all, it is all on metalled public roads

This route can be driven at any time of the day or night but be aware that it goes quite high so you need to watch the weather during the winter. I reckon that if you were in the area with your caravan then stay over at one of the caravan/camping sites and take the car over the passes. It would be agreat place to go with the kids for a picnic too. Location is about 90 minutes drive north of Glasgow, 2 hours from Edinburgh, in the middle of the Southern Highlands. How can carbon have a footprint, it has no feet?

NP, this one is a different one to the one I posted weeks ago - that one was on the Lix Toll side of Killin, this one is on the other side and comes out (or starts!) at the Ben Lawers Visitor Centre How can carbon have a footprint, it has no feet?
