green party members would then question how many carbons he released to the atmosphere whilst towing all those vehicles Rolling Eyes

I wonder how many carbons he saved the stranded vehicles/owners from releasing whilst attempting to free themselves or using alternative means of getting home.

who cares about carbons anyways ? At work

doesnt matter as the disco isnt going to exert 40 tonnes of towing force, strap needs to be as big as the discos maximum pull or drag At work

He is most defo pulling more than 4 tons, say it ways 30tons, on a wet snowy hard surface........

And I bet it's not a flat surface!

Weight×Surface Resistance=30'000×0.2=6'000kg

He was only able to do that because he went for the sensible wheel option...someone on 20's with P-Zero's would probably have needed a tow themselves Laughing Mine: 2012 Golf GTI Edition 35

towed a truck loaded with 29 tonnes of chicken feed up our farm lane today, a dead pull up hill from standing, broke first towing chain immediately as the driver started to roll back before the chain was tensioned, So I went for the spare chain and success, but it needed all the grip I could find with the tractor. tractor weighs approx 8 tonne. At work
