Cosmetic bits

On my 2011 FL i have just washed the salt off, and noticed that under each end of the full-width trim strip on the rear door there are tiny gouges in the paint, as if the strip flexes and digs in. It is through to the primer at least and soon will corrode.
Also the grey plastic front grille surround has a mottled appearance which won't wash off.
It makes it look what it is-a cheap plastic grille surround.
I would be interested to hear if anyone else has these problems. I didn't get where I am today by being sensible!

Albert E - my MY11 GS has also got a small amount of the mottling you mention on the top left of the grill. And sad to say it will not wash off or polish out Sad
