ctek cigerette adapter and recon

Hello
Thinking of buying the cigerette adapter for the ctek charger I have, can anyone tell me if they have used the recon cycle on their fl2 while battery still connected on car?
Worried of higher voltage upsetting car electrics etc
My fl2 has struggled a little on tht-5 mornings and only doing short runs in the main.
Cheers Martin.

I would always connect a charger direct to the battery, even a ctek. I just connect mine With the crocodile clips and can't go wrong!!
