newbie with a problem

Hello everybody, well i have had our new to the family freelander (2007) for 2 days ,(had a freelander 1 many moons ago) so far impressed but i now have my first official fault ,one key works the other is a no go? I bought the car private so I have no warranty. The remote that is used all the time is fine, the other doesnt do doors or anything .Some times the dock even spits it out.My question is could it be the keys battery or is the key itself? if the key where is the cheapest /best place to get a new one? and i presume it will need a code job any idea of cost ? Hopefully i wont be asking too many fault/problem questions in future.

Peter,
No reason why a new battery wont work.
You'll need a stiff drink if you have to buy a new fob Big Cry

Good luck, and don't cut yourself taking the fob apart Thumbs Up Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.
