Yes
Easy to do if you take your time Exclamation
Easy to torque it wrong if you don't Exclamation
Easy to dent the roof panel if you don't have a second pair of hands when fitting the Cross Bars to give the rigidity to the Roof Rails Exclamation Yes, you will need the Cross Bar kit to finish the job off properly - or you can buy 3rd Party gear Rolling Eyes

Ensure that when you buy a set that all the fittings are included - a "spares" kit will cost you GBP£45+ from LR if you don't have all the fittings Big Cry

If the fitting instructions are not included with the sale - download them of LR's website under "documents" Thumbs Up

Finally, when fitting the plastic trims use some silicone sealant to ensure they don't blow off when driving at speed. Idea

Again, ensure that you have all the trim pieces as these will also cost you a handsome sum from LR for spares Big Cry

I have just fitted a set from these guys....

http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Marshall-Land-Rov...7675.l2563

£180.00 all in.

There was a piece missing from the kit, but a quick phone call and it was with me the next day. garioch43

That's odd, just followed your link to Marshall Parts and was then able to give them a call. They were asking £314 including vat for a set but would be willing to let them go for £250 which I admit is a decent discount but couldnt get anywhere near the £180 !! When did you get them ?

Got them on eBay a couple of weeks ago.

They are not genuine Land Rover, but I'm prettry sure they are exactly the same, without the badge.

Give them a call and ask for James in the parts department. Wink garioch43
