The oil cooler is a pretty common fault on the ford engines.. I have had 2 go when my guys haven't put on the heater on during the night. It's a cheap fix, but it is a pain trying to sell a car with a black expansion tank, you will never really get it clean. Same symptoms for us, black oil, but its water underneath in the expansion tank, it looks much worse than it is. |
