Just wondered if it was a forum member who purchased the new tail light units from eBay yesterday. It would be interesting to know if they are a simple plug and play job? 2008 HSE Stornoway Grey with full HST styling.

Hi I bought the lights last night, fingers crossed they will work. If they dont work I will go though ebay for a refund . I well let you know if they work 2013 hse auto, black, almond leather, exnon lights, factory privacy glass, exhaust finisher, rear boot spoiler, mud flaps. Body door side moulding and steps.

He told me they were plug and play but I'm thinking the car may need to be told they are LED. Good luck though, look forward to hearing how you get on.  2008 HSE Stornoway Grey with full HST styling.

The new lights dont fit (plug & play) as the seller said, you will need an auto electrian to change the plug its six pin but smaller than on 2012 and older models. 2013 hse auto, black, almond leather, exnon lights, factory privacy glass, exhaust finisher, rear boot spoiler, mud flaps. Body door side moulding and steps.

@chalkey have u fit ur tail light? could u post a photo here so we can figure what's the difference beetwen the pin connector?

Does anyone know if the high level light is now LED too?

I'm not sure about the high level brake light? I am hoping to have the lights fitted on Tuesday, I will take photos of the old plug conector next to the new one. I,ve had the lights fitted today they look brillant, I,ve ordered the head lights from landrover, but I have'nt told the wife how much they are. She would kill me if she found out.

nicolombuz I've taken a photo of the plugs the new one is the smaller black plug the photo is in my gallery. So is it just a plug change for the rear lights?

Dare i ask how muchthe new front lights cost?  

Yes the auto electrian changed the plug on the lights, hed did'nt put resistors in because my car does not have bulb failure. The wife in bed and she can not she the screen £800. Cheeper than changing my car 2013 hse auto, black, almond leather, exnon lights, factory privacy glass, exhaust finisher, rear boot spoiler, mud flaps. Body door side moulding and steps.

I thought there was some canbus thing around? When you try change the bulbs to LED they flicker when the engine is running...

Ouch! Is that just for halogen ?  

Yes I have bought the cheeper halogen one's. I believe you need to change like for like ? I did'nt get a price for exnon,s if they look as good as the rear one's I will be chuffed  2013 hse auto, black, almond leather, exnon lights, factory privacy glass, exhaust finisher, rear boot spoiler, mud flaps.
