Poss cruise control retro fit?

Could a cruise control stalk be retro fitted to my 58 FL2 2.2 td4s? Then DIY prog in?
I retro fitted cruise & prog it using Opcom within prog variants, on my Astra H.
My first LR2 & not up on software etc. Is the software obd2/can compliant?
Thanks.

Yes, possible, needs the car reprogramming by an independant (main dealers apparently won't do it). See the thread at

So the cruise button must be on the steering wheel then? Matter of changing the steering wheels remote controls & then having them prog in. We have the S model you see.
My Astra was easy. Changed indicator stalk for cruise/indicator stalk (5 min job), clutch switch already fitted to my car. Then prog it in myself. Also retro fitted my sports button module. As these were both an optional extra to the sxi model. Some had it from new, some not. software basically just needed activating, same for fuel comp.

Thanks for the info Thumbs Up

I've got as far as fitting the buttons. Dead easy but as you are fiddling with the airbag you need to disconnect the battery. You also need a hook to get the airbag module free on the steering wheel.

It is literally a 5 minute job and they do light up...........

Will have a go, once Landrover used warranty expires (5 months time). Yep, right about disconnecting battery with airbag. Let me know if you manage to have it prog in.
Thanks for info. Landy has now gone.
