Replacing a grille

New member so apologies if this has been covered off by you guys before, but I can't seem to find the answer I'm looking for.

Has anyone replaced their front grille? I don't mean a cosmetic switch from standard to HST with a hacksaw, tape, etc. I've read about. Just dropping in one as a replacement. I hit something (something hit me?) last night and I've been left with an unsightly holed, cracked grille. Fortunately no rad damage though.

I've got a replacement on the way and i'm sure it'll have instructions but i wondered if anyone knows if I can expect a straight lift out job after removing the top plate or a more complex fix?

Much appreciate any advice. Great site by the way.

DK

The front bumper will need to be removed. Then some of the tabs are melted into place so it is fiddly but not too hard. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........
