can anybody help as some numpty who was driving while on his phone hit my fl2 door mirror and lucky for me it looks like only the mirror glass has detached does anyone know how to refit it he stopped and gave me his works details and they have offered to pay for a complete mirror and colour coded mirror cap should it need replacing.

my clips broke when mine was hit, very brittle. I had to buy a new heated glass but it was in for a service a couple days after it broke so the garage, fitted it during the service, couple mins work.
