I was a bit sceptical as to whether it would be worth fitting a spoiler before I got a bargain one off here and have not looked back..........well I have - to see how handsome it makes the car look! Goes faster as well! Now to upgrade those alloys....................

Looking good Annie. I had mine done with 21% tint which is about what the factory tint is. It isn't too dark at night either, you can still see out easily. Cool

Russ.

Hi all,

I've seen a spoiler on flea bay but it doesn't have the fitting kit. Does anyone know how difficult it will be to get hold of one, ie: do the stealers on sell complete kits?

Thanks.

Hello! I'm afraid the dealers don't sell them! I fabricated them out of a metal bracket and got some m6 bolts from a DIY store. Thumbs Up

Spoiler attaches with two pieces of 3m tape and to brackets which you screw to the spoiler, the other end locates on the inner edge of the tailgate, no drilling required, needs two of you really to make sure you get it level as once the 3m tape touches, it's bonded, it's a one shot contact.

Tailpipe, unless you have the body kit fitted it will fit better if you cut an inch or so off the tailpipe so it fits higher up closer to the bumper, it is way overpriced , nearly £100 but they do come up for auction.

Any tips for fitting the spoiler? i.e where it lines up etc or is this really obvious when you offer it up? Just waiting for mine to re-appear from the bodyshop Whistle 2013 FL2 - Black Edition Auto

I used masking tape on the spoiler and door frame, offered it up 'dry' and made my own marks on the tape, peeled off he backing and went for it, the pads are very very sticky, it is obvious but a couple of dry runs and getting your hold of the spoiler will help.
5 minutes all done Thumbs Up
