I have been struggling with the speed of this site for a couple of months.

Logged onto site today and everything is flying down the net.

Thanks to whoevers sorted it!!

My mistake, websites back on ultra slow again.

Must be down to its popularity and the number of people logging in/out on weekday evenings.

Anybody able to Superchip this website,as well as FL2???

I hardly ever have issues with the site. Site and pages load quickly, through the home wireless connection I'm using. (In Amsterdam, not Dubai)......and it's even quicker on one of the new laptops I got today.

So maybe your problem is with your provider I find the connection at my parents in the UK very slow compared to here in Holland...

I agree, i have never had trouble with this site.

my daily visit is always at full speed, in fact i have to watch out for speed traps

There shouldn't be problems with this site itself - sounds like a problem with your ISP?

Who are you connected to the internet with?

ISP is virginmedia (was NTL),Broadband via cable modem 2MB connection.

Never had a problem before, hence the post.

basically as soon as i try and navigate between home page and posts (or similar) I get a long delay with just the site banner at the top tempting me in.

Any body else got any problems?

I don't have any problems either with BT

I would check you PC for things like Virus's and Spyware as the latter can seriously slow connections down, windows defender should be fine to locate any spyware, but i would use a market leader virus checker such as symantec or norton for virus's
