Indeed .... as you say Builder ... in the end it all comes down to attitude. I've been using an excellent dealership for over a decade, but the sales guy assigned to me just pissed me off with his approach, attitude and comments. So I went to another dealership, where the sales guy was interested, listened, and responded helpfully when asked ....... that's all I wanted ... he got the sale! |

Previous experience has caused me to avoid ANY Stratstone dealership like the plague. I hada real issue with my local Volvo outfit, they left horrible oily marks on the interior trim and also an oily plastic bag containing the left over engine oil on the front passenger seat after a service. They also tried to persuade me that trading my 18 month old car in for a new identical one and payments oer £100 per month higher was a good deal. It gave me great pleasure when they rang me to suggest that my car was due for renewal at 3 years to tell them I had already changed. The big problem was that all the local Volvo dealerships were Stratstone operated. |

I think what is important here as with all dealerships whatever your requirements is that sometimes it is just the attitude of one or two employees that can spoil the whole image of the group but will ultimately put you (the customer) off that dealership/group for life, and take your business elsewhere. There are after all around 250 other dealerships to choose from some keener than others for new business. |

Hunters Bristol terrible - they even have 0870 numbers to contact them. Got mine from Stratstone in Cheltenham - got a good deal and have had good service from them since. |
