buzzin' and rattlin'

FL2 SD4 10 months old. VERY happy with it except recently started with some rattling. Seems there are 2 sources - (1) the internal rear view mirror... the mirror seems to buzz against the plastic frame. If you push on it, it stops, and (2) from above the control panel (interior light switches etc) just above the rear view mirror. On occasion there is a buzzing sound, like something loose & vibrating against another surface. Again, push gently on this panel and it stops for a while, then returns.
First service due in a month or two, so will mention at that time to the dealer.
Anyone else had this? Should I expect the dealer to resolve? Any thoughts on an easy fix? ...

I guess I'm the only one with this. Will ask the dealer to replace the mirror assembly. But was interested in any experience out there. ...

I too have the buzzing mirror problem

The dealer had taken it apart and put it back together which fixed it for a while. However it's back again. The other half usually gives it a whack which stops it for a while but i'll get them to look at it again at the next service.

I think the buzzing from the control panel is temperature dependent. When cold, no buzz, then it warms up, and you get the buzzing ...

piattj;
The only fault I had with my 2008 GS over 32000 mls was a buzzing interior mirror. Pity I couldn't say that about 2010 model (eventually rejected after 8 months) and new SD GS which replaced it. All FL2's (3) Gone
2011 Mercedes C180 CGI Gone
FL2 GS Auto SD with heated leather, factory tints, alloy spare and a few other bits.
