I've had a full ski box on the Thule bars to Switzerland and back with no issues.

Once fitted the feet sit snug against the roof and the door should close normally, if you get the adjustment wrong they will overhang and the door will not close properly.

I don't recall having a problem understanding the Thule instructions but to be honest once I'd first assembled the bars I left them assembled and just loosened them off to remove/refit them.

I have just purchased the Thule Rapid 754 and 1443 kit to attach roof bars to my FL2 with panoramic roof and without roof rails. After several attempts to fit I did some further research. It would appear that the 1443 kit can not be used with a panoramic roof and there is Nokia that you can use that I can find from Thule.

If anyone has had any success with Thule and panoramic sunroof please could you let me know ASAP as I am planning to attach a roof box and go abroad in the next few weeks

I use a Thule set supplied by the Roofbox.co.uk on both my Freelander 2 with sunroof without problems. The feet clip to the door frame and shouldn't come into contact with the sunroof at all. I've even opened the roof with the bars and a box fitted without problems.

I have got the Thule set from RoofBox. Fitted no problem. Car has dual sunroofs and they are no where near the Thule rails or feet. 2007 TD4 SE Manual Santrini Black
