I have Scorpion zeroes on mine, I would be interested why you don't rate them, not used anything else, this is my first 4x4.

I've just replaced the tyres and put 4 Scorpion ATR on , seem a nice compramise, as quiet as the Zero but a bit more agressive tread, great in the snow this week and still OK at 80 mph.

Nothing wrong with any Pirelli IMHO, a premium tyre always gives me confidence, tyre threads on any motor forum always provide diverse views, a lot of the views seem to be based on price, but why would you invest up to £35 grand in a car then buy budget tyres ?

ps If you think you have a hard life with car tyres try bikes, a a top flight rear tyre for a sports bike costs around £180 and will last between 1500 and 3000 miles if you are lucky ,and unlike cars very few people would put a budget Chinese or Korean tyre on a bike 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

2016 Subaru Outback SE 2.0 diesel SE Premium Lineartronic Sold 2024 after 8 years and 80k miles . Best Car I ever owned !

Had a CB600, mates used to laugh, as I never managed to get right over to the edge, still has some little tags right on the edge when it was changed Laughing
Pirellis feel and work well for me, it's the steering that unnerves me, it is too light.

Let's enjoy the winter Thumbs Up

Who's wanting cheap tyres? Talking about Vredestein and Nokian, both quality brands I'm lead to believe.

According to tyre sales websites Pirelli Scorp Zeros are mainly a summer tyre.

A few reports here:-

Very many happy customers running Vredestein Wintrac 4 Xtreme's on F2's and very many other 4x4's, quite a few staying on them all year round, best to change IMHO to get a few winters out of them. Thumbs Up Andy.

When the Goodyear were worn out on ours I changed them for Kumho Ecsta STX, they were not lowest priced on offer, but so far have been on there a year & a bit and have proved to me very good all year round.
In the snow the end of last year the beginning of this they were much better combined with the Freelander than the other option at the time my defender Td5 with all terrain with M&S marking.
Very pleased with them.
