The radio receiver is fed from a 5 amp fuse (FS21) in the passenger side fuse compartment, might be worth a check. |

Remote battery charge? Have you tried your other remote? |

Just tried BOTH of the remotes and everything works. Can't be moisture because it has been raining for a couple of hours.

It will not be cold related. Nowhere near cold enough. Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice. |

Recently had an intermittent problem with one of the remotes. Seemed like low battery in that it only worked when very close to the driver's window, then wouldn't open at all - luckily wife was present with her fob. Booked in at dealer, but two days later the fob was working perfectly without having been docked in the meantime.

All I can add here is that the fobs have a rechargeable battery in them which is onj charge everytime the fob is inserted into the dock.

Just to add weight to Shilen's post, in the work vehicle there is an area around Farnborough where the remote fails to lock or unlock, also on the works vehicle I have an accessory fitted to it that can be used by a remote, should I try to lock or unlock the vehicle it overrides the remote for the accessory, it may be someone or something nearby that is walking over your remote. |

My wireless router was problematic for the neighbours Range Rover, he has sinced changed a control module that was not going to sleep when my wifi was on and flattening the battery. It wasn't just mine, if he was in range of a wifi signal the control module was continually trying to talk to it.

I worked at a Ford Main Dealership and we were always getting people coming into the workshop saying their car was parked outside and wouldn't work. We knew what the issue was and just told them to push the car 20 yards down the road and try again. Worked every time.....some places are like that and just mess with the signal. Range Rovers seemed to be particularly sensitive to this problem. John

It seems to be relatively easy to jam door locks - see today's Standard http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/standard/art...hopping.do - so not surprising that it can happen by accident if the right sort of signal is present. |
