There is a simple solution to this and it does not involve the A/C. In alot of cases, a car that steams up alot is down to a filthy pollen filter.

If the pollen filter is dirty, it stays damp and therefore blows damp air into the car causing it to steam up. This is the first thing I would change before you start messing with the A/C. Don't forget, ALL air that comes into the cabin goes through the pollen filter.

I change mine every 18 months or so, my car is 5 years old next year and it doesnt steam up, the A/C is nice and cold and it has never had a re-charge.

Good point. Don't LR do that on the 'B' service though, in which case it would have been changed in March?? Thumbs Up Gone - TD4 XS Auto, Sumatra Black, Mud flaps and side strips, clear indicators, private plate, privacy glass

Should be done, yes. Is it always done? No.

I have known some dealers not change it when it should be done. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........
