What colour is the i symbol and is it surrounded by anything else such as a triangle.

If it is an i in a red triangle it is a critical warning message, if its an amber colour it's a general information message.

Only arrow to the right I can find is a circle with an arrow pointing to the right at the bottom left which relates to the Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) but that shouldn't affect engine performance.

rchdleigh, guessing here but I think the arrow to the right is the arrow on the information centre Question which is then telling him the reduced engine performance Thumbs Up p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

ad210358, guess you're probably right. Just had another look at the manual.

The i symbol is an indication that there is a message in the message centre which can be accessed by pressing the i button on the indicator stalk to cycle through the message centre.

Reduced engine performance could be for any number of reasons and there will probably be a fault code logged in the system which the dealer can access. Other threads suggest it might be linked to fuel flow problems.

Ok when you turn the DSC off you get the same symbol in the main message centre.

The arrow will display when ever there is a message such as HDC on, ICE, Command Shift if it is an Auto, in your case the warning light is lit as there is a problem and the information centre is giving you a bit more information. It as rchdleigh has said, there will be a fault logged in the memory which can only be read by a dealer. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior
