2nd hand joy, glad I bought second hand tho

Day 2 of the freelander 2, ive had many a new car audi bmw 1, audi a3 s line and just solf my golf gti, all have been great cars and nop problems. all bought new, but I picked up a freelander 2 the other day and I have never been so excitied. its a 2009 and I am like a kid in a candy shop. comes so well kitted up.

i must admit tho so glad I got one of these 2nd hand, looked at the history and its been in for a number of faults all which got fixed early doors. just been in for service with no problems and new tyres feels like such a bargain for so much car..

joy joy happy happy joy

yeah i was very lucky, i cant get other how much kit the xs comes with, love the premium sound system and the heated seats will be welcome in the winter, it came with roof bars which i thought i would hate but they dont look half bad on it. blue tooth so simple to use.. just shame its slower then my others but I didnt buy it to race..

I bought it to run into the ground for work, but its my pride and joy now, all after 2 days

probally be bored of it by weekend

Agreed. The FL2 is great before you even take into account 4WD advantages. It is very smooth and relaxed when cruising.

The high driving position more than compensates for the lack of agility compared to hatchbacks and saloons (inevitable consequence of the high driving position).

The 4WD then gives us the supremacy for finding traction in snow over normal cars (unless they have winter tyres) and great off roading abilities if you want to utilise them. Not bad on fuel either so a great package overall. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby
