Landrover LRX

Spotted this over on RRSport.co.uk

Will it be a replacement RRSport or a three door FL2, says it based on a focus

Look like a FL2 Sport to me. Looks really great! According to article it'll not go into production till 2009 (if it does).

you can check out the LRX on the microsite off the Landrover.co.uk site. There's even a link to give your feedback.

thanks

Thanks for that prompt Boiledgnat!

I've just been through the microsite and added my responses and comments.

I was amazed to see how big the LRX is; it's almost as long as the Freelander 2. I was expecting it to be more like the size of a 3 door RAV4, to appeal to a different market segment. As it is, I 'm not sure what it's functional appeal will be. Confused

What do others think?

I have to admit that I quite like it. I have no desire to give up my FL2, but I thought it would make a good second car - good fuel economy, not too big, yet robust enough to cope with my local roads.

I'll be interested to see the price.

I had a reservation on the technology front, in that it seems to be devoted to Apple product integration, and I'm definately not an apple fan!
