Manual gearbox oil level check

I was doing our 2009 TD4Es service and noted a small ammount of oil weeping (tiny) from the 24mm gearbox drain plug. I wanted to check the gearbox oil level but could see no obvious way to do this.

There must be a filler plug somewhere! I did look for a while, and ended up tightening the 24mm nut (need ring spanner to get to restricted space for socket.

I wonder if the oil level is electronically monitored,as I can find no dipstick.

I also believe it takes 2 litres of more special landrover oil!
