A recent call for clarification by member "Simont" on another thread asked: "what/where is CH" which was very ably answered by member Past Master: CH = Switzerland.

So how broad is the knowledge of where that "country code" sticker on the back of the car in front refers to. Below is a list (chosen because they normally appear on your Green Card insurance certificate for coverage beyond your land of residence. Can you answer them all correctly without having to research the answer elsewhere?

M:Malta or Montenegro?
AL: Albania or Algeria?
S: Scotland or Sweden?
P: Portugal or Poland?
IL: Ireland or Isreal?
LAR: Latvia or Libya?
MA: Monaco or Algeria?
FL: Liechtenstein or Finland?
L: Latvia or Luxembourg?
HR: Hungary or Croatia?
ET: Estonia or Egypt?
RL: Jordon or Romania?

No shame there - I only got seven right first time testing myself. This morning insurance renewal came through together with the said green card and so I'd thought i'd test myself. There are of course many more countries listed on the green card.
