Hi just wondering if anyone can help i had to put the air con on tonight to help with demisting the windows when it was raining heavily and it smelt disgusting any ideas on how to cure it

If you don't use your air con regular it can cause a build up of bacteria causing bad smells. I believe it's recommended to run your air con on a regular basis to ensure it works efficiently as well.
I had a musty smell from my air con and used Autoglym Air con sanitizer. Seems to have done the trick. There are other similar products on the market for DIY sanitizing. Otherwise find a local garage that does a full air con service. My local garage were doing a full air con service for a special offer of .£40. However it can cost a lot more.
DIY cans costs about £15. Hope this helps.

Polen filter & an antibacterial/sanitizer bomb that is set off whilst the car & aircon is running for 15 minutes. That will do the trick!! (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.

I did that to mine recently - made a big difference.

Pollen filter (real fun to change!) and the air con bomb was just a button press on the can.
