Today I decided to check my mpg and was quite pleased with it! The lowest mpg award should be handed on I do believe mr pinks!

That's nowt I had 9mpg going over hardknott and wynose passes the other day Laughing

Criteria for the award is a years worth of logged data too, fill up to fill up and then submit to the judge (me) and a technicality will be fould to retain said award Whistle

Good attempt though Bow down Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

How do you get it that low? Do you reset it each day to give a daily reading rather than long term? (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.
(Past) RR Evoque Dynamic Lux Si4 In Firenze Red.
(Past) RR Evouque Pure Tech in Barollo Black with bespoke Firenze Red colour coding.

I'll be trying that pass in the Freelander when I'm in Cumbria on holiday early in July! It'll be the 4th car I've done it in:

Montego estate 1.6 petrol in 1987 - hopelessly underpowered!
MINI Cooper in 2006 - absolutely brilliant Very Happy
MINI Cooper S in 2008 - dangerous! (Suspension so firm that it would go on to 3 wheels in the hairpins!!)
Freelander 2 in 2011 - awaits verdict Wink

Tigger.

Last year in the Disco, I went over Hardknot Pass travelling west. Came in behind some tw*t of a cyclist at the steepest part, you know just before you go down the other side, who insisted on trying to get up it in a oner in the middle of the road. Left me high and dry, stationary looking at the sky! I had to engage low ratio and made it with the smell of the clutch burning.

The wife and kids ducked for cover. IF I'd have stopped to remonstate with the cyclist, he'd have been dead by now and I'd be c/o HMP Strangeways for the next 15 years and yes, it would have been worth it!

Doesn't do anything else but rain in the Lakes. It's a cold, miserable place.
