Dealer advice

I have a problem with axle noise which I need to take to a dealer.

I have moved since I bought the car so cannot go back to the supplying dealer.

I am more or less equidistant from Southampton, Basingstoke or Guildford.

Can anyone advise which would be the best to visit bearing in mind all the poor dealer reports posted.

warranty

Hi Reeventu
Is your car still under the 3 year warranty from new ? if so you can take it to any main dealer and report the problem where they then should get the fault sorted.
If how ever you have got a 12 month warranty from the suppling dealer and the main 3 year warranty has expired then you will have to take it back to the dealer you bought it from.
There are some circumstances were you may of paid an extra fee which would cover you to take the car to any main dealer but some how I dont think that this will be the case with you as I think you would not pay for this extra as you lived close to the suppling dealer to start with. Hope this helps Thumbs Up

Unfortunatly I dont have the awnser to that one but what I can say is this. Once you have logged a fault with a car with any of them then, should you have problems or they cant find the fault before the warranty runs out they have a duty to honour the repair no matter how long it takes.
So should the warranty run out and the problem is still not fixed then they cant tell you that you now have to pay as you logged it with them before the warranty expired. Sorry I cant be of further help to you but maybe SOME ONE on here can steer you in the right direction.
But remember, GET IT LOGGED AS SOON AS POSIBLE, most impotant you do this for warranty purposes best of luck m8 Thumbs Up
