Starting problem

I have just had the dreaded HDC fault sign with non starting plus key is stuck in ignition.


I have disconnected battery so my questions are;

How long do I leave it disconnected before trying again?

Is there anything else I need to be doing?

Thanks in advance, heading away tomorrow for 2 days work so sods law!

I would make sure battery is fully charged and no dead cells first. You should have a nominal voltage of. 12.6 volts.
