How to run SDD on Windows 10/11 with Microsoft Edge

A lot of people think you need Windows XP with an old version of Internet Explorer to be able to run the SDD software. Mainly this is because SDD needs ActiveX support to render the content in the browsers.

You can actually run SDD on a modern laptop with the latest Microsoft Edge browser. It won't work on Google Chrome as it won't support the rendering. How do you do this?

Open the SDD application with Edge as your default browser and once the webpage is opened, click on the 3 dots (...) in the right top of the screen. This will open the browser settings. Now select "Reload in Internet Explorer Mode" and the page will now reload and emulate IE and allow the SDD rendering to function in Microsoft Edge.
