According to the manual it is a Dealer adjustment to stop the mirrors folding on locking.

I did use silicon spray a couple of days after the WD it was ok for a while after that,the mirror seems really free to move i think its a motor problem. |

If it's the motor it's probably cheaper to replace the whole unit rather than try and repair the motor.
