Do they have any benefit? I think fuel consumption and less muddy splashes to the front have been mentioned in the past? Presume fitting to a MY10 means self tapping screws into the bumper? Upgraded to an ex demo, 7 mth old, Rimini Red/Ebony Napoli Auto HSE on 28th Jan 2011, added roof rails, mudflaps and side strips.

Not exactly Junior. There are three screws, two fit as per via one of these metal things that clips onto the plastic. The new thrid one, if retro fitting is self tapping, no doubt on the 2011 model, it screws into one of those metal things. |

No effect whatsoever on fuel either + or - Slightly improves the front aesthetics of the car 'in my opinion' Cheap and simple to fit, well worth the money for the safety aspects of the first issue alone ![]() |

On the basis of "Safety" as raised by Wing, can someone post the official LR Part Number so that I can order a pair for that quiet astonishing sum of GBP£10 that Mr Pinks quotes. Thank You. |

Has anyone had these fitted to find that they have been torn off off road?

I've seen smaller front bibs become missing on a RRS Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis |

Probably best to remove them "5 minute job" before going off road on ruts rocks or deep snow. Would be o.k going forward as they are quite flexible, but reversing would probably rip them off. |
