Masterplan

Assuming the current trend for FL2 used value and demand continues over the next few years and more bad winters, I have a plan.

My finance plan is up in 3 years time and if I want to keep the car I just pay the GMFV figure (£7.5k I think) regardless of what the vehicle is actually worth.

So, my plan is buy the car for £7.5k and then sell it privately for more like what it will be worth, say £10k-£12k?
Thereby making a profit with which I could buy another FL2 or perhaps a deposit towards the FL3 assuming its due by then.

Regardless of what I bought, do you think this plan would work? (Notwithstanding the fact that LR will take it off me and put it towards a new car if I want) LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby
