Hi , when i left work on monday morning at 06.00 there was a nice covering of ice on the windscreen my heated windscreen took about 60 seconds to clear it was great as my co workers stood there scraping |

I just press the "program" button, leave it 2 mins and it's easy for the wipers to wipe it off..........beats scraping |

Mine works fine too, whilst my PROG button it doing the front and rear, washer jets and side mirrors. |

The annoying bit with my screen was that it wasn`t an odd element here and there that didn`t work, it was broad strips, between 20 & 50 mm wide that didnt work. And the widest one was right in the drivers line of sight!!

Ford put a patent on the quick-clear screen many years ago...the patent runs out soon....so expect other OEMs to start to offer it soon.....

Well its a few weeks since I posted this one, the car had its first service a few days ago and the screen problem was also raised.
