Scotland 2012 Freelander 2 SD4 Dynamic Auto Indus Silver
Progressive high level brake light

Has anyone seen these lights fitted on a vehicle before?

What's the chance of the original brake lights giving a faint glow while driving or once the engine is switched off similar to the interior lights if LED's are installed? Out with the old (2007 SE)
In with the new (2012 Dynamic with everything). Now also gone.

It's an addition to your vehicle only as any alteration to the cars brake lighting to change from on/off would be an offence and MOT failure.

Where you intend to install this 3rd brake light? Not too sure whether there will be any glow like the interior coz my LED interior does not have any glow.

United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Stornoway Grey

This sort of thing is already added as standard on alot of cars.

I know that all Vauxhall's have this, when you brake the third brake light comes on as normal, but under hard braking, when the ABS cuts in, the third brake light flashes to tell the driver behind that the car in front is in an emergancy braking situation.

The later cars flash the fog lights as well.

Not sure if the Land Rovers do it as I have never had mine in that situation before. I think my CLK does it as well.

Under hard braking in our peugeot 206 the hazard warning lights flash a couple of times.
