I didnt have to take my bumper off when i installed a Witter Detachable (although it would have been a little easier) - are you sure the bumper has to come off???

best of luck,

The Witter you can but the Brink it is bumper off, maybe it can be done on but it is only 20 mins spent removing it, saves a few scraped knuckles and a few choice words. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

Won't the build quality of the FL2 mean the wall will collapse. Rolling with laughter

But very true if you park the van infront of the wall - it wil hide the damage. Thumbs Up 2002 Honda VFR800

2 replies to that:

1) I was thinking more of the 'dry stone' walls around farms and such...

2) You wouldn't need a wall to remove it in some parts of the North East - if you take my meaning Wink

And by the way in the North East we have some of the best walls going - kept the scots out for a long time.... 2002 Honda VFR800

Well I have finally fitted the towbar - as for it taking 1.5 hours it took me that long to get the bumper off. Why do not Land Rover's instructions cover taking the bumper off? Now having fitted genuine LR parts it does not work so I suppose it is down to the dealer to tell the vehicle it has a trailer.
And finally I tow a trailer - not a caravan!!!
