Has anyone in Kent used any of the LR Specialists. Mine is due for it's 4th year service next month. My local dealers are taking the p s with their latest quote, as can be seen below:-

Barretts Canterbury Main Dealers - £520
Rays' County Vehicles (specialists) - £368
Carman Country Vehicles - £280

Am tempted to use the third one, but can't find any reviews???  Gone - TD4 XS Auto, Sumatra Black, Mud flaps and side strips, clear indicators, private plate, privacy glass

Roberts Country Vehicles (RCV) - Haven't used them but supposed to be very good. Would have used them for first service if I hadn't managed to beat the dealer down on servicing cost. Have you phoned Guy Salmon in Maidstone? Have found them to be very good.

Same here regarding first service but LR paid for mine in full

However I have found Guy Salmon useless regarding actually bothering to contact me/return cals etc! (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.
(Past) RR Evoque Dynamic Lux Si4 In Firenze Red.
(Past) RR Evouque Pure Tech in Barollo Black with bespoke Firenze Red colour coding.
(Present) Freelander Metropolis 2015 MY In Santorini Black with Ivory Premium Leather.

They've always returned mine and the guys (and gals!) on the Service Desk are really good.

I use Beadles in Sidcup, where I bought my car, just had the second service done, initial quote was £540 but they price matched RCV at £337.00, kept me well informed at all stages and replaced both front seatbelts and trim panels under warranty.

RCV are quoting 4 yr - 60,000m £368 for Freelander 2.

I have used RCV in the past when I had my Disco 2 from new, they were much cheaper than Beadles who were not price matching at the time, I was very happy with the work RCV did for me then.

Had my 4 yr service done at RCV a couple of weeks back. Service was great. Had a (corsa) courtesy car as well. Second time I've used them & will do next time.

Guy Salmon in Maidstone have done 5 services on mine - Wouldn't think of going anywhere else. FL2 TD4 XS Santorini

Just found this thread.....Land Rover Solutions near Canterbury are very god. Charge same prices for LR parts but labour is much cheaper, and they do a great job.

RCV all the time for all out Landrovers and the BMW

Have just received a leaflet from main dealer Harwoods in Edenbridge. They are offering 4 year service at £387, 5 year £300 and 6 year £387.

They service both my F2's and I cannot fault them. mole
