Busy trying to put the rear diff/haldex assy back into the car but having trouble getting the drive shafts back in. I cant seem to get the shafts past the retaining c-clip. whist attempting this I actually broke one of the originals.


Tried to get replacements from Duckworths but didn't get a reply so ordered elsewhere.
New ones arrived this morning but I cant get these on either as they are an odd shape.
Have I purchased the wrong ones?
Any ideas.  Now at the point when I learn something new something old is lost out the other side !
Now retired so it doesn't matter anymore.
Freelander now gone.

Looks like you've cracked it.

Just been out and checked my vin AH155591 so it looks like part number LR018449.
The parts list I looked at only showed the one item.

Extremely grateful for the help. Ill order that now.  Now at the point when I learn something new something old is lost out the other side !
