Farnell Range Rover Land Rover Launnch

To celebrate the opening of their newest dealership, Farnell Range Rover/Land Rover in Bradford are having a launch weekend on Saturday the 5th and Sunday the 6th.

I'm going to go along and sample the delights !! Thumbs Up

Hi Gumdrop - been down there myself this afternoon mainly to sample the terrapod ride.
Had a quick circuit round in a SD4 FL2 and D4 - both very capable - being run by Coniston LRE. Very pleased / surprised at how good FL2 was on the course.

They also have the 3rd ever series 1 land rover in the showroom.

If anyone is in the area it is worth a quick visit and the indian food (+burgers for the squemish) looked good. The new showroom is just off Canal Road / Kings Road just outside Bradford.

They are also offering a £1000 'reward' to anyone trading in a LR less than 5yrs old / less than 50,000 miles if you buy another LR from them.

Don't know if a voucher is required but anyone but PM me if it is - I still have mine.

Workshop very impressive - 9 ramps + other bays. There's always a way forward!

Hi

Yes I went down over lunch time - good food Very Happy Kids had a burger and chips and then raided the fridge for B & J's ice cream. Nice to see the new F2 in the flesh - the white SD4 HSE has a price tag over over £39K Surprised. Seen the S1 before - not as nice as mine - mine is a bit newer 1958 Laughing The bike display was fun my daughter had a go Thumbs Up If anyone is in the area its worth a visit. Anyone who uses Farnells Guisley will find Claire is now down at the Bradford showroom. Cheers

Thanks for the tip DR. I have just emailed Farnell to see what they would give me for my 08 GS against a new TD4 HSE including this extra £1,000 P/X. I will keep you posted as to whether it is a genuine extra grand on the P/X or a marketing fudge of figures.

fair shout. I just thought they were a bit lazy. Doing the legwork myself I sold my trade in to another dealer for 1500 more than their top offer, and came back to negotiate with no trade-in. Just my feelings at the time ...

they are offering the extra trade-in, but all prices of equivalent 2nd hand cars there seem to be north by at least that.

Got a reply at the back of 5. Nothing exciting regarding the figures. They were competative regarding the price of a TD4 HSE with my options, even quoting the same price LPR gave me but they never had a P/X in with the offer.

The P/X price worked out at just £16,082 for my car. A price I could get from any dealer so what happened to the extra £1,000 P/X you ask. Well I have emailed him back asking the same question. Whistle

I will keep you all updated as I get the information. One thing I hate is fudged marketing

LPR looking good as soon as I get this car sold.
