2015 Freelander 2 SD4 Metropolis LE Auto Santorini Black

XS & HSE Audio System Differences.

Apart from the obvious differences given the HSE has the DAB, 7.1 pro-logic & extra speakers has anyone had much experience with comparing the XS 9 speaker system to the HSE system in terms of general sound quality, depth etc & noticed any real differences?
I am not concerned about radio more CD sound. (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.
(Past) RR Evoque Dynamic Lux Si4 In Firenze Red.
(Past) RR Evouque Pure Tech in Barollo Black with bespoke Firenze Red colour coding.
(Present) Freelander Metropolis 2015 MY In Santorini Black with Ivory Premium Leather.

I cant tell the difference between a S and HSE spec. Must be tone deaf.

2009 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Lago Grey

I have an XS and find the sound quality to be very good in the front, listening mostly to CD and ipod. I haven't heard the HSE so can't comment but don't see the benefit of Dolby pro logic in a car??

wobble when on full blast SD4 Sports LE Black ...

2011 Freelander 2 SD4 XS Auto Santorini Black

There is a sub-woofer in the XS (at least in my MY11). If I have got this right there are 10 speakers in total. The 14 speaker set-up in the HSE adds 2x rear pillar and 2x more rear doors? Trevor

2010 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Rimini Red

There is good and better, I doubt you will notice the difference. The salesman during my trade in suggested I had a woofer in my SE, news to me if true! Fun to play with the 2.1 though...... Upgraded to an ex demo, 7 mth old, Rimini Red/Ebony Napoli Auto HSE on 28th Jan 2011, added roof rails, mudflaps and side strips.
Gone - A great 57 Plate, Auto SE, Bought Feb 2009, Roof Rails and Mudflaps added on purchase. Blue colour, anything but drug dealer black.....

2011 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Baltic Blue

My MY11 XS has DAB and 6 CD autochanger, paid a bit more to have them and in my opinion well worth it.
