Wishing to upgrade the halogen headlamp bulbs in my new SD I checked the handbook.
"Headlamps Main and Dip Beams" H11
This is WRONG, the Main beam is H7 as in previous models and the dip is as stated H11.
Glad I checked as I have 2 H7 +90% so will now only need 2 of the much more expensive H11.

As I stated in a previous post I think the new "projector headlamp" is very poor on dip beam, you need to have them well lowered to have any light concentration, then too low on main beam. All FL2's (3) Gone

so the SD is different to a 2009 then as ours have H7 for both The missus - SD4 HSE - Black - 2012

I agree with you that the dipped beam is not very good. Drove up home last week via A76 and with oncomming traffic it is difficult to see the side of the road on dipped beam when there is no curbs to follow.

have fitted them and it does improve considerably. The main beam is H7 as previous FL2.

I suggest you have a quick read of this, any of the top contenders are good. I've used the previous Phillips ones and have the Osram's on here in now as a lot cheaper;

The advert you posted is for H7, these are NOT suitable for 11MY dip, you need H11(eleven) and these are more expensive.

Sorry misread your post thought you wanted both, the H11's are £28 a pair for osram's.
