2007 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Auto Zermatt Silver

Automatic Transmission Fluid

Hi there,
I know this seems a silly question but I can't find any reference in the hand book for how you check the ATF level or indeed where you top it up.

I had the same problem once with a BMW I used to have, but with that car you used to top the power steering bottle up as it was a common system for both.

I'm wondering if this is the same for this auto FL2? Anybody know? Many thanks in advance.

Ok for all of you out there with auto transmission. You can't check the level yourself. It can can only be checked by the mechanic during routine servicing / maintenance. I checked this information out with my dealer.
