Check out this Rangie

I suspect you might be better off with the TDV8 unless you want huge performance and about 8mpg Laughing

Irrespective of particular models, what kind of paint thinner would you need to be sniffing to think 'I know, I will not buy a Range Rover, I will buy a BMW X5 or X6 instead'

Land Rovers might not be the most reliable cars and some beemers are nice but 4x4 beemers and those from other brands including the VW toe-rag are heaps of s Censored t at the side of the Range Rover.

Luxuries to match the merc s-class but with a 'get out of my way' road presence, great looks, ultimate badge status and go anywhere capabilities.

I really would like a drive in one....i've often wondered what that big diesel lump is like, it's one reason I miss my V6 Vectra diesel, it was one peach of an engine especially when it was tuned. I think I miss that lovely muted growl just as much.

If you think the Rover has a delightful interior, have your bum sit in an Audi Q5 or Q8. The workmanship is impeccable (however, it's got enough gadgetry to confuse a 16 year-old).

The Mercedes-Benz ML550 is also stunning inside.

You and me both.

I went to a dealer after-hours, and found a vehicle in which some dolt had left the keys in the ignition (new Q5). Sure was nice to be able to spend as much time as I pleased plodding through the thing. My initial impression was that the electronics are so complicated that I would have to pull over roadside just to figure out how to pull over roadside Laughing

I mean, sub-menu's for sub-menu's......Amazing technology, but not very user friendly.

One of my regular customers has (or did have till he let Gatwick Airport's valet parking look after it) a Range Rover Sport TD-V8. I have driven it twice & would have used it next week when I chaueffeur him & his wife to their Company's firms do. It is an awsome vehicle & IMO the only deisel that I would remotley be enthusiastic about owning. (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.
