I would have thought with the intro of the 2011MY, LR effectivley put on the rise in VAT with the increase in the price of the refreshed model already. So can now advertise the fact they will save you the 2.5% rise. So who can tell me what the 2011MY FL2's price increased by????? 2010MY Freelander 2 HSE Auto

Participating dealers (of which we are one!) are freezing VAT for all orders placed with the factory before the end of December 2010. This campaign is being jointly funded by the dealer and Land Rover.

There are a few provisos, therefore please discuss with your dealer.........

VAT will be charged at 20% however a saving will be applied to bring the invoice total to the pre-VAT increase price.

Cars which are available to register (i.e. on way from the factory or in dealer stock) before 14th December 2010 will not protected by the VAT freeze. This means that you cannot defer registration to 2011 if your car is due before 14th Dec 10.

Customers taking advantage of the VAT freeze can also take advantage of Q4 finance offers (subject to finance acceptance and some other requirements), but cannot take advantage of Q1 2011 offers AND the VAT freeze.

Fleet customers (which may be some 'brokers'????) who have terms in place with LR will not be able to benefit from the VAT freeze (due to arrangements that they already have in place with LR).

The above is quite complex depending on who is purchasing the vehicle, when it will be built, when it will be registered etc, therefore please consult your local dealer (on the assumption that they have signed up to support the campaign). Or PM me!!

he previously had a grey on with the 'sports' kit so I did all I could to help him upgrade, It also had the sat nav upgrade - a tom-tom stuck on the screen  At work

I quite like the new style front spoiler. It looks less 'bolted' on than the original bodykit. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

Pity they didn't use the front spoiler from the German "Elegance & Style" limited editions with LED daytime running lights...

That looks "bolted on" - original is better designed  2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.
Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc.

Nice but front end looks to lower than my MY10 and looks to low for off-roading. Current: Freelander 2 GS, Orkney Grey, Factory fit privacy glass, design pack and Clearview pack. Almond Leather ,rear spoiler,rear mudflaps.my13.

You can get armrests on standard part leather XS seats - I know i've got them on mine which I collected yesterday.

I wonder if the black grille and air inserts will become available on their own? 11MY SE SD4 in Lago Grey just arrived with a free Garmin thrown in! This could be the start of a beautiful relationship (I'm an eternal optimist, and former FL1 owner)!

Hold on a minute, the Rimini sport (in the vid) HAS got arm rests

and the red is supposed to me a new solid red colour whereas the one in the vid is clearly Rimini. Also you will note the panoramic sunroof which is only on the HSE, not the XS which this one is supposed to be based upon
