Paint Blister

Hi everyone
I was washing the car at the weekend and noticed a small bubble with a ‘brown’ centre on the bonnet. At first I thought it was tree sap, but I couldn’t shift it. Took the car into the dealers today and they were so concerned that they took pictures to send it to the paint warranty people at Land Rover. It definitely looks like a rust spot bubbling up under the paint. I will let you know how this progresses. Has anyone else had any problems?

Big Cry Yes I have a minor paint defect as well. Mine is on the roof of the car but not the same defect as you have described. The defect on my car is a paint inclusion / foreign body entrapped in the wet paint whilst being sprayed. Going back for warranty paint repair after my hols. Thumbs Up

I had some defects on my rear bump, I say some, 3 in total, they were as if somebody had touched the paint prior to it been dry.

I notice these when they told me the "fresh paint chips" on the cars rear bumper were already there when they put the tow bar on, as my car was a ex demo.

I told them they wasn't but because they were going to be painting blemishes they would be sorting the chips at the same time.

They did a very good job aswell, shame the parking sensor that was repalced, is still in the wrong colour as they don't have the paint in a spray can to change the colour yet??
