Then I guess I'm left with the hearing aid tip.......

Thought the chicken suggestion was the best one Laughing

However I have heard that by plugging and unplugging the seat belt 24 times while the ignition is on and then turning the radio volume up or down within 6 seconds of the 24th unplug, the volume of the sensors will be adjusted accordingly Whistle 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.

Don't trust the Tesco ones. They are not approved by Landrover and may void your warranty (or sh*t on your bumper).

A klonk when reversing is better than a squelch that may not be heard without the hearing aids on. Live ones may upset somebody, so frozen Tescos it is then Thumbs Up

Didn't have them on my old 2007 S but on my new(er) GS the radio volume is
reduced when the senser tones sound. Is this normal? It seems a good idea.

Mine are the same - I think its to let you tell the difference between front and rear Rolling Eyes
However a graphic display on the SAT/NAV would have been a good idea to save turning your head during the whole reverse process. But there are those that do still use the old fashioned visual method for secure reversing Thumbs Up . 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.
