!6" Tyre Choice (AT)

HELP! Please Sad

I need to change my tyres but getting nowhere.
Anyone got advice on Fitment for AT's on 16" Rims?

I've seen a few threads on here but I'm loking for advice.
ATM I've got the standard fitment 215 /75 R 16 (Freelander 2 S) but want to go AT

I've read that a reasonable replacement would be the AT2 in a 235/70 16.
But, my supplier tells me that this is not a fitment s and that there's a risk of fouling on full lock.
Anyone gone this route? or anyone got a suitable recommendation?
