I have spoken to a number of venue's and the Black Bull in Reeth as suggested by Muddy Paws on the Disco 3 forum are happy to accommodate us on Sunday Dec 5th.

Tony, yes we can make a trip out if you like. I have a number of routes I'm sure will be Freelander 2 friendly but it will be worth checking before the day.

I need to give provisional number to the pub tomorrow afternoon as they are already getting booked up.

Myself and toeknee are heading out and will make sure the lanes are Freelander2 friendly.

Had a trip out today with Ian (flinty99 from Disco 3 co.uk) in and around Reeth to look at some of the planned routes for the 5th December meet. Unfortunately we had to turn back on the first one as the route became to technical and could quite easily have damaged both my FL2 and Ian’s Disco 3 . Looks like the rain had washed quite a lot of the track away leaving very large ruts, the second route was fine and there should be some good photo op’s looking out over the dales.

Dose any one know of any good lanes / tracks that would be vehicle friendly in the Reeth / Hawes area, if so just pm me with the details, might be going out again around the 27th to see what we can find

Unfortunately I will now not be able to make the meet on Sunday, my wife has just confirmed she is working and I have been nominated to drive her to and from work on Sunday afternoon( she’s not that confident driving in the current conditions and it looks as it may well last in to next week. I could say something about female drivers, but she reads this forum sometimes)

If you are planning on going can you please PM Ian (flinty99) he will be able to give you all the details. Also if you require lunch can you contact him before Thursday .
