I am looking for windscreen sun shade for my car. Does anyone know if I can find a Land Rover one, specific for the freelander?

I found a company that do sunshade for the rest of the car, side windows, rear quarter and boot window, a very good bit of Kit that I understand Land Rover are looking for this company to supply as a OEM part, have a look at

Okay they are not cheap but worth it (and the £165 price did include next day delivery), my last three cars have all had privacy glass but it still does not stop the sun getting in the eyes of the little ones, but theese shades help with this, also when you look into the car (with your nose aginst the window) it is very hard to see inside (good security) but they don't seem to reduce the vision from the inside out! Plus these shades can even stay in place when the windows are part or fully down!!

I agree with your assessment. Had some fitted to an XC 90 we had a couple of years ago and was delighted with them. Also, negate the risk involved with after market window tints. Were these easy to fit? By the way, they look great on your car.

They just pop into place, the fitting involves a few clips that fit onto the blind itself and the just tuck into the trim - no holes to be drilled, no dmaage and in and out in under five mins, they also come with a carry bag to store them in when not in use.

Thanks for the info. On the XC 90 the hooks had to be stuck on to several locations in the car, including the rear windscreen. Is it the same for the FL2?

There's no sticking or drilling, just push into place with the aid of a few little lugs that fix to the blinds themselves.

If look at Sunlinds 4 (in my gallery) and enlarge the image you can just about make out one of the tiny lugs at the top of the window in the middle.
