The back lighting on my radio turns itself off - this happens only when on a long journey and last anything between 5 and 15 minutes before turning itself back on. All radio functions seem to work whilst the set is in "darkness".

Turning the set off and on doesn't make any difference nor does turning off the ignition. Not a big problem and one that doesn't occur on shortish journeys. The latest incident was travelling back from S Ayrshire to Glos and the phenomenon happened about 3 times between Carlisle - Birmingham.

Anyone have similar problems??
