hi, i normally live over on the disco3 site,,,
now looking to add to the family with an FL2. for swmbo, and me when she needs the biggun.

Soooo, if anyone is or knows anyone who is about to chop in their 07 for a new 60 plate then i'd be interested

only requirements are NOT silver, and must have PDC.

manual would be nice..and if it's got a sump guard on it then bonus,, this WILL get used off road for my job when swmbo pinches my D3 for road trips..

From a 1974 series III to a 12MY XS FL2 with help of a 1995 D1, 1996 D1, 2005 D3, 2007 D3 and a 2009 FL2.

I think you'll find the FL2 far more refined and better mannered than a D3 for Road trips not to mention faster

I think you'll find I can decide that for my self

FWIW the D3 is a magnificent vehicle,, to be honest we'd have two of them BUT we don't need two 7 seaters.

i'm a tree surgeon and use the D3 for my job, it's just having a winch fitted and is regularly used off the beaten track.

swmbo needs the space the d3 offers a few times a year for her business which i shall not go into on here,,

the FL2 is a wonderful car, but to say it is more refined and faster than the D3 is .

And this thread is not about which is better:-) it's about me needing an FL2...

if you want to discuss FL2 V D3 then i suggest you open thread on it..

winner by default of the tractor vs caravan race

it's not had any issues apart from a few minor ones, that were all sorted,,

the guy is really anal about his car care,, he's not short of a penny and the FL2 was swmbos "run about"



it's not got a scratch on it,, snow use but no off road,,

will have some decent tyres fitted pretty quickly along with a few other parts to help with the tree bits..

tow pack, privacy glass, optional wheels, ( cant remember which ones) bluetooth, and some more bits,,
